  • My solution was less of a solution per se like Scale To Frame… I just changed the font size manually to 40! It almost was so obvious I didn’t think of it to be a solution (hidden in plain sight), and while it doesn’t solve the problem fully it was a decent work-around. I’ll give your method a go next time I import an .srt (I get these done by an external captioning company too)

    I’m having the same issues with Premiere Pro CC 2019 13.1.5 – did you end up finding a solution? All my .srt subtitles are too small, and if I scale them up manually they get pixelated and crunchy. Never had this issue in Premiere CC 2018. SOS!
