    Screen capture is definitely the way to go. Recently edited a 4 hour presentation using JPEGs instead of live feed and although it looks great it to FOREVER.

    Re 16:9 vs 4:3, depending on the number and complexity of slides why not just change the slide format to 16:9? Seems easier in the long run than working with two different formats.
