Okay, that’s what I thought was going on. Best to check with people with far bigger brains than mine before spending money or risking viruses on some bad freeware download.

See that’s the thing. The discs play without a problem in blu-ray players that I have tried. But they will not play in the internal I bought. Which being the very drive they were created in, seems odd.
My computer can recognize stuff on the disc, the files etc., but windows media doesn’t recognize them and won’t play them. So the best I can figure out is that windows media doesn’t recognize the BD format.
Before I go out and look for a program for playing bd discs on my computer, I thought I should check and see if it really is about windows media player not being able to play blu-ray discs or some other compatibility issue.
