    Ahhh my bad.

    Yes the camera had the same expression, which i didn’t realise i had applied to it.

    I’ve just added the line you mentioned to the camera expression also, deleted the layer above and badda boom!

    You are a star.

    Many thanks. Happy customer : )

    Hi Dan

    Thanks for the reply.

    My Null is layer 5, so I put the following at the top of the expression.

    seedRandom(4,false);

    I then proceeded to delete the layer that I don’t want (to clean the project up) which is the 4th layer in the comp. When this is done, the camera jumps again.

    I should add that I have some position keyframes on the null as well as the expression.

    Thanks again.

  • Thanks guys.

    Pre-composing and time re-mapping is an option but it would get a little tricky/messy as there are other influences within the comp. If i was able just to link the current frames on a “slider”layer then that would work great.

    Thanks for the feedback, i’ll post it within the expression forum also

    Oh so it does! Apologies for that. I jumped the gun too soon I guess. I tried it within the comp I had at the time, that exact thing, pick-whipping one shape path to the other and it didn’t work but i’ve just tried it in a fresh comp with only two layers and it worked fine, should have done that initially. Sorry for being a total doosh but thanks for your help anyhow.

    Yes I thought that was the case, i’m just not sure how? I need to look deeper on the net to see if i can find an expression that might help.
