Thanks for the OP and the replies. I have one followup question.

I too have a 256 GB Samsung 840 Pro dedicated to disk cache. I’m getting the same error as the OP every time I open AE.

Originally, I allotted 200 GB. No problem.

After a couple of sessions, AE has used about 46GB.

Cue error.

I found that I have to readjust the allotted space based on available disk space (minus 10GB) every time I open AE. It seems to me that AE should know how much space it has used from all sessions. Am I making sense, and am I crazy?

Can I just ignore the error? Should I be readjusting every time? or will it make a difference?
