Hi all.. seems this problem is being ignored so I am forced to roll back to Premiere Pro CS3 for now. Great product AJA but very slow on the bug fixes. Andrew.

Hi.. having same problems too. Using driver version 4.2.1 – Home built Core i7/Windows 7 Pro 64bit/6GB Ram & Quadro FX580 system. Everything was fine under Premiere Pro CS3 using v3.5 driver. Also composite monitor output while capturing analog has bad flashing green bars. I think this is a driver problem too. Recorded pictures are ok. Any ideas.. don’t want to roll back to CS3.

Hi.. I’ve tried both Quicktime and AVI capture at 8bit and 10bit PAL. Flashing still present on the monitor whatever format I seem to capture at. Recorded images are fine.

    Cheers

    Thanks for the reply…

Sorry I should have included these details.

    System details:
IBM PC – Intel Dual Core P4/3GHz 2Gb RAM (Matched Pair Samsung)
    Custom built system inc.
    Gigabyte GA-G1975X-C Motherboard
    Xena LSe Card
    Silicon Image SATA Raid Controller
960Gb SATA Raid 0 Array (Media Drive – 3x320Gb Drives)
Primarily aquire via Xena LSe card but have a SD-Connect for firewire capture if needed.
    Sony PVM9041 Monitor
    Contour Design Shuttle Pro
    Adobe Premiere Pro V2
    AJA Software 2.6
(System working well and quite stable)

In this particular application I am caputing live analog vision/audio from an outside broadcast feed and not using a deck. Not using reference and set reference to free run because production area located remotely from OB facility. Getting a reference feed is not easy in this application. I am live capturing conference sessions to edit content and produce session DVD masters for a client. Recorded images all ok just the monitoring on the PVM monitor flashes or flickers at top half of the screen. Looks similar to when you used to pause a betacam machine. All was ok under AJA software V2.5.

    Thanks for the help

    Cheers

    Andrew.
