Hello, I have been using Encore for over 10 years. Well, I personally don’t use the project burning engine of the authoring programs, better use Imgburn is much better, it is dedicated to that, it burns either DVD or BD and double layer and best of all, it is Free! . I know you have to have Adobe Encore with the latest update, 6.0.2. I know it has a patch for when BD disc burns, but I can’t remember the exact specification.
