Indeed, the name of that field is “Work Area Bar”. It used to be default when I first installed Premiere Pro a few years ago. It’s good to have it back!

L.E: you can also find those markers on the After Effects timeruler; you use them to set an in / out for a loop playback

Thank you for your answer, but that article doesn’t solve my problem. As you can see in the snapshot, on the right side of the wrench there used to be two markers for in / out – which aren’t there anymore. I use them to set the beginning and end points before exporting a clip.
I hope that makes sense and you can help me.
