Comments and Things Worth Noting
I have been creating visual media since I was 12, starting with photography then moving into video I have always revelled in the creative challenges that I am introduced to and I truly enjoy the opportunity that I have to learn new things every day. I am driven by an enthusiasm that is fuelled every time I see one of my creations being used and by the praise that my clients send me.
I craft visual media that communicates your story. Photos & videos are not just images, they should enhance & support your brand, inform customers of your values and reveal the underlying attention to quality & detail that your business constantly strives to attain. It is my fervent belief that consumers are becoming more selective as they become more informed; subtle factors come into play when weighing up the options and the company that neglect quality in their image probably neglect quality in their product.
I don’t want to see your business self-harming with visual media that repels potential customers. You spent good money on your logo, branding, website, which can all be either enhanced or negated by the level of investment you then put into your photos & videos.
My work begins long before I pick up a camera. I decided long ago that I would never adopt the “spray & pray” approach of the paparazzi. Images that reflect your business should come from clear intent and be supported by thorough planning. It is my job to understand your business almost as well as you do and then convey that information, visually, to your customers (both potential & existing) in a way that allows them to appreciate just how good you are at what you do.
Your first port of call should be my website at http://developingperceptions.co.uk/ where you can find out more about what I do, and see some more of my work. I am always delighted to have a chat about your company’s visual media to see if there is anything I can do to help you better communicate with your audience.
