Thanks. I thought it might be a dirty head. I used a little sony minidv camcorder to capture the footage I had and it worked great.

Thanks for the help. I used a boom and a wireless lav and it sounded great for the first day of shooting. Much better than previous projects and time will be saved trying to work out audio problems.

One of the big things makes DV look like DV and not film is the depth of field. Back the camera up and zoom in to the actors face. You will see a big difference in the look. Also push the contrast up when you are editing
