March 3, 2010 at 1:05 pm in reply to: Apply animated texture to text without effecting glow(My english is not so good) If I understand your question in the right way, you just need to apply texture to the text by using blending options without any effects. then pre-comp the both layer. after this, apply your effects, filters etc.

Dear Dave, I have decided Amd after several tests. With Amd I have taken my definite results for PC. Laptops have pretty different system, they are more integrated and they have special chip/system softwares for the pieces to work together very well. I would like to tell them all but I believe my English is not enough. I promise if I find a guy good at English I will send you about tests. And also I am using production premium. As I have read the specifications of sys. req. I can’t believe they are totally true. Ofcourse Amd for PC is my choice, this is just a suggestion, that’s all. ( I have to add a deepnote; Intel is much more better for gaming, it is unrivalled)Always cinema…

For the laptops I agree to Walter and Michael about being Intel based. my 2 laptops are Intel based. but all PCs are amd.. whatever, here are 2 configuration in optimum class, as I promised yesterday. they are not at the top or in deep..

Amd based:Mainboard – ASUS M4A785-M AMD785G
Cpu – AMD, Athlon II X4 620
Ram – Kingston 2×2 , 3×2, 4×2 that is up to you.
Hdd – SEAGATE 1TB SATA2 32 MB Cache
Graphic – ASUS EAH5750/2DIS/1GB DDR5, ATI RADEON HD5750
Chassis – must be 450 or 550W. Brand: any of them you wantOthers (monitor, keyboard, Mouse, audio system etc.) are your choice
Intel based:
Mainboard – ASUS AT3GC-I Intel945GC
Cpu – Intel Core2Quad Q9505
Hdd – SEAGATE 1TB SATA2 32 MB Cache

March 2, 2010 at 7:55 pm in reply to: How to get the best quality video using Keylight?ok, this may solve your problem: after you finished autotracing just close the keylight effect then your keyed footage will turn to original as keyed out. Flickering will be gone. After this make the whole composition one layer by pre-composing. open a new adjustment layer above the pre-comp and then start color correction (curves, hue-saturation etc.) by adjusting adjustment layer.

I agree to 64 bit OS. If you want to buy a PC I strongly suggest that the CPU must be AMD. Because AMD proccessors are more stable and constant. Also cheaper than Intel. I use AMD since 2000 and it has never let me down. But it is up to you. Tomorrow I will post you a configuration both AMD based and Intel based.. If you want to buy a laptop my suggestion is ASUS or LG. But when I searched deeply I realized that the new version of notebooks don’t have firewire(i-link 1394)input/output. So if you have a video camera that works with firewire you should becareful. see you tomorrow..

March 1, 2010 at 10:37 pm in reply to: Slow play back after rendering – help pleaseconfiguration is good! ( and perhaps you should turn 5 gigs to 4 or 6 gigs. Because Rams like to work as twins. 1 to 1 or 2 to 2) and the second means like BS-player, mediaplayer classic, K-Lite codecpack etc. whatever if you use one of them just remove all and restart your machine (even the softwares don’t warn, just restart) and install them by this sort: 1st – K-lite codecpack by default settings(I think the last version 5.7.0) 2nd Bs-player (free or pro, it doesn’t matter) Anyway if you don’t use them just get them from the internet by google search, then install like I have told above.
