try to export as quicktime with animation settings. then you can convert it to any format you want. also be sure you clicked collapse transformation after pre-comp.

yeah, it is viable. but in my opinion, keep using flash for characters and then export it as a video format or image sequences(I perefere this) with alpha then use AE for backgrounds, video effects, focusing, depthing etc.

I am not sure but I think it is a keyframe issue.. just zoom in the timeline at that point and if you see an extra keyframe just delete it.

In addition to dave’s advice, you can use trapcode form to do this job. with form you may have more efficient sequence, but echo is efficient too…

they are the softwares included in different categories. AE is a compositing, FCP is a video editing software.. May be you should compare FCP with premiere.. but in my opinion, FCP is more powerful than premiere. If you want to compose sequences, you may choose AE. but if it is about budget, you can buy adobe’s production premium. 7 softwares are included that package, AE-premiere-PS-Ai-flash-encore-sound booth.. and it’s only 1699$, FCP is 999$.. so it is important what you want to do, after that you can decide clearly..

June 6, 2010 at 10:18 pm in reply to: Vector to SWF, Simple Animated Mask Causes Rastering?ok, I have understood now.. so here is the answer: 1st; collapse transformation the *.ai, but no mask.. 2nd; pre-compose the layer (move all attributes).. 3rd; click collapse transformation of the pre-comp again.. 4th; draw your mask and animate.. 5th; file/export/ swf… I have tried already and it was succesfull.. I hope this will help you to finish your project…

Duplicate the jack lead and cut out its head with pen tool. place the complete jack lead layer beneath the plug layer and place the cut out layer above the plug layer.. this may help you..
