I’m using H.264, exporting as MP4, playing back the video with QuickTime.

I find leaving the export as “progressive” works fine though, so it really isn’t much of a problem.

But… the video I’m making is aimed for Youtube. When I play it in Quicktime, it looks perfect and smooth… when uploaded to youtube, it’s blockier than most videos and stutters a lot (I’m assuming it’s because of the 50 FPS on the source video). I’ll need to experiment more on this issue though.

Thanks for the reply… didn’t solve it at first but I found that upping the resolution to 640×480 instead of 320×240 allows the horizontal lines to appear… but at that resolution it doesn’t allow my video to play at 50FPS (which I want it to). Is there any way to bypass this restriction?

Oh and when I export and use any field oder other than “progressive” the video just plays a green screen with audio on the computer.

    I use XP SP2.
