Thanks Dave, Thats what I will get then.
I am still trying to decide on whether the MFT or EF version I will buy.
Do you know if the image quality is the same. I mean with kind of same quality lens on both would the image quality be the same?
I am kind of leaning towards the EF version, but last week I was sure to buy the MFT.
PS: I am buying from a supplier that has both in stock. Day after tomorrow will be the big day, I will finally own one.
I have 3 commercials (30 sec) to shoot with it asap.
If you have any tips on what to look for when buying the camera will also be so welcome.

HI, I read that you have used both BMCC, mft and ef.
I am just about to buy one. Most probably the EF, but I am changing
my mind daily almost. There is one question: Is the image quality the same of the EF and MFT. I mean if u have a equal type of quality lens?

Yes thanks, I use the color finesse scopes. All of them. It is
a great tool.Evert hing you mention I basically do. Still I dont seem to be able to get those bright reds and orange without going into unsafe areas.
I also see the bright reds on BBC. Mostly used in animated logos etc.
I would love to be able to get these colors as well.

Yes, I am trying to use the identifier, but it says in the effects pannel in the identifyer “NO OBJ ID availanle”.
Of course I did extract the Obj ID first, the layer turns into colors, like pbjects all get a color…. then applied the identifyer.
cant seem to get it to work…
I would like to eventually get layers with different object, Is that possible at all??

Thank you, very helpfull….
I got as far as opening the exr in AE and even the reflection layer is fixed…
How ever what ever I do I cant see to get the Obj id not Matr Id working….
I am used to RPF and they are easy to get the IDs on seperate layers… so to get object or materials on seperate layers for induvidual color correction…
Is there any one that can help?????? pleas!!! Cant get the ID to work on my exr files in AE

So am I right in saying that render passes and render elements (3dMax)
are exactly the same thing? -
Thnk u, lots of information… does not always make it easier to deside… haha.
OK, in plain English… If I unrstand u correctly the if I have a 16mm ef on a BMCC ef… and next to it a 16 mm mft on a BMCC MFT , the view is the same? When I see my image the cropping is the same…

Thanks Mathew I am definatly interested yes. Thank you.
Good advice Peter, thank you.
Still did not decide what to buy… I am leaning towards the MFT version at the moment.
I knw that on the BMCC ef because of the crop factor a 16 mm lens would be as if a 32 mm. Is this the same on the MFT version? Will a 16mm MFT lens be as a 32 mm, or is it different with the MFT version?
Another question that I cant find any info on as yet is:
Is there any difference in quality between a good MFT lens (on the mft bmcc) and a good ef lens (on a bmcc ef)? The comparing the raw footage that is.
