I’VE FOUND THE PART on SONY’s website — IT’s PART #307 – BRACKET (TRIPOD)($31 in April, 2017)

The direst link to the part does NOT work, so use this Sony Parts website link – get on the site and then follow these instructions to find the part: (if this one desn’t work aswell, go to ServicesPlus.sel.sony.com and choose “Parts”):

1) in the “Model Number:” type in “ex3”;
2) hit “Close Window”;
3) choose the 4th option in the list: “PMWEX3” (For USA, Canada)
4) in the “Category:” pick “Extended Views” and under “Module:” choose “Outside Panel and Battery”;
5) the bottom “baseplate” is part# 307 (BRACKET (TRIPOD)) (217879302)($30.84 in April, 2017)
