Long time lurker, first time poster, but wanted to contribute;

Although this thread is quite old, i just had the same problem, audio was out of sync when playing back from the beginning of the time line, but was fine if you started playback further into the time line

A fix that has worked for me, is to trim the first 5 seconds of the audio clip going out of sync, i’m guessing you could pop in the first 5 seconds afterwards using the same clip (blade tool @ 5 seconds didn’t work)
