It’s just under 2 hours long, and in DVD Architect says it takes up 6.7GB. The VIDEO_TS is 6.08GB.

yeah there are loads of files in the video_TS folder.
Any suggestions/tests I can do? Or should I just try and use another machine?

I did try it on several different PCs and a DVD player and it didn’t work. This was a while ago now and there is another problem I’d forgotten to mention that has happened since the sound.
When I burn the prepared file to a disk, I end up with the Audio_TS and Video_TS folders (Audio_TS empty). However, it doesn’t play at all and if you view the properties of the disk, it either says there is 0mb used, 0mb free or a very small amount(about 125mb used, 0mb free). It’s a 6.7 GB file and I’m using 8.5GB DVDs.

When I first edited and burnt the video about a year ago it worked fine but I had to go back to vegas as there were mistakes.

Thanks for helping me out but i’ll just say I know very little about this, i’m editing for a friend.

Mike, I haven’t got the option to change the audio format in the properties, it’s set at PCM stereo.

Robb, i’m using DVD Architect Studio 3.0 and Sony Vegas Movie Studio 6.0 and I didn’t choose PCM for any particular reason, I think it was the default setting. Is there another name for AC3 as it’s not an option in the render list?
