    Thanks Adolfo… this is great!

The only problem I’m having now is that I want to paint one frame, go to the next, and paint a new untouched frame, and so on. The way it is now, when I paint on the first frame that stays throughout the animation — I found a workaround of doing a bunch of individual 1 frame layers but it’s a pain and I assume there must be an easier way.

I tried to convert the animation to “FRAMES” but for some reason my footage doesn’t show up as 28 frames in a sequence but only one frame (whichever frame I was on while in “timeline” mode). Im not sure why this is happening?

Hope this makes sense. Is there is a way to paint a frame, advance, paint, advance, then output only the painted layer back to AE?

    Thanks!
