Just to make sure I don’t fall into the same issue (getting ready to upgrade), by multi-cam do you mean group clips?
That sounds like we are using different terms for the same thing, but I just want to be sure.

Yeah, simply changing out the time code wouldn’t help you at all. In that case, you would just sync at start point rather than by time code.
What camera was it shot on? We typically use PluralEyes in this case and create new video files. It’s 200 bucks and has paid for itself many times over.
