I would like to being back the 90’s video edit controller, but replace all the video editing machines, with video memory card insert slots on the video edit controller.
I am interested in reintroducing an entire new generation, plus the baby boomer generation, to a revamped RSS 422 Video Edit Controller from the 90s that I successfully used for 10 years and won a Los Angeles Emmy with.
I am baffled that basic video editing concepts such as actual knobs, dials, and punch in keys that do insert video editing, pre-roll, audio insert editing, post roll, while we focus on pacing, plot, use of the proper camera angle, have to be packaged with so many additional bells and whistles on pull down menus that most people just give up or get really annoyed when the next “more better” generation of editing tools has tossed aside some of the prior version’s more popular features.
Pull down menus when video editing is why I don’t edit. I can’t edit that way, my brain does not function in such an ascerbic, sterile environment designed by non-creatives.
I have been told it will cost 1 to 3 million dollars to bring back my idea, which shocks me that it cost that much. However, with my demo skills, I am confident if a new age video edit controller style of video editing were available, sales would be in the millions of dollars every year.
Presently, I am planning on offering the absolute best quality of analog video to digital transfers that focus on optimizing the actual video signal before it is transferred to the digital realm.

I have extensive experience in Super-8mm cameras and won a few dozen awards using innovative time-exposure techniques that would prove intriguing if added to digital video cameras.
I also have extensive experience on both Shoulder mounted E.N.G. style of cameras along with the more portable video cameras.
I presently use a pocket video camera for simplicity sake.
