this is what I would do in after effects:

Curves > these settings (change them depending on input footage) https://i.imgur.com/UAguiGU.jpg (photoshop curves, you won’t get the spectrogram in after FX) – What I did there was: I pushed the blacks to be lighter and decontrasted the image(top right). Added a bit of reds to the highs. Took out a bit of green and blue from the blacks and that’s it.
Hue/Saturation > Saturate the colors a bit
Brightness contrast > Bring up brightness a bit, bring down contrast
