Okay more slow developments. I am absolutely positive it’s not the actual images, there is nothing on them to suggest any vertical lines.

I have worked my way around this problem on most of the scenes using a series of track mattes and layering the layers in slightly odd ways.

It’s deffonately related to the track matte in some way, possibly it’s not reading the matte sequences perfectly and this is what is causing it? If the mattes are disabled, the lines disappear.

Also, each time AE is loaded, the problem lines seem to move to a different location, different length and sometimes even horizontal. All a little odd!

    Cheers for your help.

Fair enough but it wouldn’t really be practical to re-render everything again as targas but I will keep that in mind next time.

Any ideas on the problem? It doesn’t seem like a image quality problem because as I said it seems to be applied after everything else has?

No one any idea why this is happening? I would just like to add that it appears to be applied after everything else, as in when I begin previewing it, for a split second the correct version is shown in the preview, then the lines are added on top which makes me believe it is something to do with an effect or something?

I could screenprint a image of my layers pallette if I haven’t given enough to go on?
