As I think I’d mentioned before, even Wirecast used to do this until quite recently.
For something that called itself a professional product, that was unconscionable.
They’ve since fixed it, still, I’ve grayed some of my hair by having to pull up sync behind PPT slides every so often just to be able to come back to video and audio playing well together.
Oh well, at least it didn’t do vertical video.

This is best managed with a round trip to Audition.
Sample the room tone under the Foley section(s) and run noise reduction until you get a nice “dry” Foley, use that in Premiere, and lay the on-set room tone in underneath.
You’ll have to fiddle some with settings to get it to work, no doubt – experimentation is your friend.

As a side note, I used to have one of those J13 x 9 B$ lenses (came with my first Betacam) – nice glass, though the non-threaded front was a pain (I had a Series 9 mount lens hood) and the wide angle adapter weighed a ton, but was zoom-through and did not bend the corners.

How adept are you at greenscreen work?

Can you post a picture or pictures showing (a) the mount end of the lens, and (b) the cable connecting the camera and lens? That will help people figure out which mount you have, and thus, whether an adapter is available.

Are you talking AVC-Intra camera files? Or have they already been edited or processed in some way?
AVC-Intra from P2 should load directly into Premiere. There is even a preset for creating a sequence using those settings as a normal preset.
As Dave said, duplicate a couple files and send them to your editor. See what happens. They should load without any fuss.
