    I have had some success with a simpler method when the pop is not too extreme.

    1) Zoom way in so you can see the instant of the pop. It will usually be louder than surrounding audio.

    2) Put three to five keyframes in the audio with one RIGHT AT THE PEAK of the pop.

    3) Pull down the peak at the pop until you can still hear the beginning of of the word or syllable, but the volume doesn’t leap out.

    Here’s the after picture of one that sounded pretty good.
