I don’t know. To me it’s not normal to wait 15mins in order to export a 720p raw clip compressed on h.264 while you can do that within 2 minutes using another software.
I just tried the Compressor method. Exact Same settings, it’s faster than Quicktime Conversion but it’s still horribly SLOW compared to Premiere Pro. I mean, not a slight difference. It’s very significant.
That was very enlightening. I’m not sure why there is no website that illustrates the whole DSLR configuration process step by step for 101 filmmaking wannabees. The field is still very vague. You have to dig within forums and waste a lot of time to get what you are looking for.
Thanks for the reply. What I understood from you is that most of available systems share a standard threaded mounts. Now for instance, what would you do to hook a Zoom H4n recorder + Marshall field monitor to a 7d Camera? What do you need (rods, clamps, etc…) to assemble this system? Are they all 1/4?
Thank you Dave for the great response! The second replay made it clear to me. Initially I was thinking of making it by turning each image opacity between 0 and 100!
John I think you’re talking about the 3d objects which are obviously created using a 3d software. Although they have that sketchy effect too which is more complicated this way. I’m sure the animation is exported from the 3d software as an image sequence then individually coloring each frame before importing it to After effects. I can imagine how long it would take.
