  • Nobody has a t-tap yet, as it’s unreleased, so can’t say for sure. But I agree with Jeremy; the IoXT should be able to run all NLEs using their current driver set without setting up different boot partitions. If I’m not mistaken it will even run Avid in addition to FCS3, FCPX, and PPCS6.

    It’s one of the reasons AJA products are 3 times as expensive as Matrox.

    This may be a stupid question but I too am looking at a T-Tap solution and wondering how to best ensure audio monitoring syncs perfectly with video…

    Why not run the HDMI or SDI output from the T-Tap through another AJA converter with audio outputs, like the AJA Hi5 or Ha5, or something better? I’m unsure if you can chain AJA products like that together, I’m just assuming you can.
