Just to keep you informed, you can also look into Storage DNA Evolution which is a Mac based LTO LTFS based archiving software.

I don’t know what is your archive size .. if you want to use a library the please look into Spectra Logic T50e an entry model with spectra media on it using spectra’s own media lets you utilize MLM its a tool basically keeps a track record of the tapes like health checkup,mount& unmount counts,format counts etc.

I would like to highlight some of the key features of Storage DNA.
It uses open LTFS to store the data without using any proprietary wrapper.
SDNA keeps you metadata also on open XML so you have full access to both your data and metadata that means tomorrow if you don’t have SDNA still you will able to retrieve your contents back just by using LTFS.
