    Hi Andrew,

I made a new project, and selected “enable mixed framerates’ and I’m still having the same issue. Once I have imported the footage, and I check my project settings, the option for “mixed framerates” is still checked, but it is greyed out.

Hi, yeah, i’ve tried manually adding the MXF media. But I have not tried the “ensure mixed frame rates” option – where is that? I’m fairly sure that that is my problem.

    Thanks for your help.

    Thanks JPo,

It gives m the option to export a “missing clips EDL” which doesn’t give me the information you were referring too.

    Any other ideas?

  • Thank you Juan!

  • Hi Shane,

    Thanks. Trying that now.

Why you ask … who knows .. client wants an FCP version … =(

  • Hi Shane,

    So this was my workflow:
    In Avid:
    1. Transcoded final sequence to drive – several diff. frame rates in project.
    2. Export AAF – using COPY to fold – and AAF protocol

    In FCP:
Imported AAF – using exisiting media –

This was how I was eventually able to get everything online in FCP.

So, are you saying I’ll have to do this same workflow – essentially for each drive?

Or are you suggesting, I consolidate the transcoded sequence in Avid, and then retry getting the sequence up and running in FCP, and then I should be able to just copy the drives?

Thank you so very much for all of your help.

    Hi Peter,

I have tried that, and I’m not getting too far with the Boris support team either ;(.

    Hi Shane,

Thanks for your response. I’ve been trying with Automatic Duck – but for whatever reason – it will not bring all my audio files online. I have a project with 10 Audio tracks, and it will only bring in the first 5 clips from A1. I’ve tried the same AAF using Boris FX – and it does bring in the whole sequence correctly – though it is offline – so I know my AAF is okay. Have you ever had to deal with something like this while using Automatic Duck?
