I’m not sure After Effects is the program used to do this type of work but…

I’d love to know how to make 2d text follow tracking points in 3d space. I’m having a hard time figuring out to explain this, but it’s used in many commercials and movie openings. Dell is one example of how it’s used in commericals. The commercial shows a desktop computer on a desk and they shoot the footage on a dolly or jib rotating around the computer. Here’s what I’d like to know how to do, How can you track points in that footage and make your text follow in 3d space to make it look like it was part of that scene?
