I'm in the Editor's Guild, but I can work on non-union projects as well. I've worked for all kinds of employers; major studios, one-man-show type operations, boutique post houses, etc. I know Macs and PCs, though the bulk of my work in recent years has been on Macs. I'm enough of a gear-head to be in the game, but I really don't care that that much about the latest and greatest toys, I just need them to work correctly, so that I can get the job done.

I've done quality time as a professional assistant editor before and even during my foray into professional editing, though not for over fifteen years now. I'm as comfortable in a bay where I have to troubleshoot everything myself as I am in a union environment where I have full tech support. Both have their merits, and I'm grateful for the experience I've had in each.
