Some scenes might require particles [rain, dust, smoke, etc] but I reckon its not that hard to do because it wont require tracking since they`re stills.

I`m thinking about having a lot of camera moving [panning in and out then moving left or right, etc] so it doesnt get boring.

No, I have never used 3D in AE before, like Cinema4D or something like that, though I don`t think this might be necessary as I don`t want to achieve a 3D look but rather a 2.5D or 2D look, thats why so many stills so I can change point of view often since its an action music video.

I already did that. I`m in no way interested in amateur slideshows and/or software built-in transitions.

As I said I`m looking for something that I could do to have an impact on the viewer, like moving pictures or maybe like a comic book type effect where the camera kind of moves into the next chapter.

Also effects, I`m thinking lighting effects or like flares positioned carefully into the image to bring it to life. I want a dynamic video and I just need to know how these techniques are called and if they can be done so I could learn them.

Thanks for the replies. It kind of points me in the right direction. Since no one can`t know exactly what went into the making of the video, I guess replicating it exactly like the video, is not the case here.

I really don`t want to create another thread just to ask a similar thing so maybe someone can help me about this 2nd video.

I already have the DIY green screen and lights to achieve the background of this video but what bothers me is that I don`t know how to achieve that shadow like figure [the dancers]. I guess it has something to do with the blending options and color correction.

So what you`re saying is that they rotoscoped, let`s say just the real people and the rest is animated and they just combined it right?

Do you have any idea with what they could of stylized the video to get those colors? Im guessing color correction and just adding black and white won`t work.

Thank you. And thanks a lot for pointing me to those plugins, they seem really interesting and powerful!

I`m still trying to understand how are they to transit to another background without changing his position or facial expression.
