If I reinstall Premiere Pro CS3 and EncoreDVD CS3 will I not lose my work that’s on Premiere Pro CS3 now? Don’t I need to uninstall then re-install Premiere Pro CS3? Should I just save the work as copies in a file somewhere (desktop or my documents or something) in order to make sure I still have them for when i re-install?
Thanks again for all your help Jon.
    🙂

Hello, (and sorry for asking SO MANY QUESTIONS). I’ve never had this much trouble with any project i’ve worked on before :S
I seem to have lost my encore DVD and now I’m having problems exporting my projects. I’ve tried exporting by following the Adobe media encoder option in the file menu, but everytime I do that, premiere shuts down. I am so very frustrated and don’t know what to do. I’m so worried that after spending hours and hours of editing i won’t be able to put my work on a dvd.
    PLEASE HELP ME.

When I do that-move contents from one project to another- I lose all the video effects, don’t know why? 🙁 (is it because I’m copying and pasting?)
PLUS I get audio interference/problems. Ex. Project “A” has audio 2 muted, but when I move project “B” into project “A”, i need to play audio 2. so i f i unmute it I start getting audio from project “A” playing where I don’t want it playing.

    Thanks for the response.
I have several projects that I would like to make into one. Is there a way I could open up a project then open up another project and add it’s contents into the first project? Also, I am trying to export my project to Encore so I could burn onto DVD but when I go into File-export- the export to Encore option is not available (it’s not highlited) Doesn’t Encore come with Premiere Pro CS3? What’s going on? how else can I burn my project without encore?
    Thanks

Thanks for the response again. What I did was convert the MPEG into mov. format and now Premiere is capturing the entire 2hrs+ of the video. That’s good. However, i’m now running into another problem. The audio and video do not match up with one another. When I select a clip from the source monitor and drag it down to the timeline, I get both a video and audio track (one ontop of the other) coming down together. You would think that the audio is naturally lined up with the video since they act as one, but when I play the clip, the audio is not in sync with the video (I hope that made sence).
In other words, when I try to edit the audio-which sounds like it’s playing at a 5 second delay- I move the track on the timeline, but the video track moves right along with it. How do I move seperate the two and move just the audio track without moving the video track.
This only happens when I am using the master audio. When I import mp3 audio tracks, I can move it anywhere I like on the timeline without it affecting the video.
Is this because it’s in mov. format?
    🙁

Hello and thanks for the response.
This is originally a video (VHS) that was turned into MPEG format and put onto a CD. This is the first time I work with this software (premiere pro) and I was told that this would be the best thing to do. Should I have done things differently/different format?
