I forgot to tell you I am using firewire drives at 7200 rpms. 1 terabite.
what drive will be good for this job?

I have the time to learn the process and I am really interested in learning the layback process. That’s why i want to ask a lot of questions to get this information.

I shot the feature on the panasonic HVX 200 with the P2 card. I used the 16 x 9 24p settings and transfered the files to FCP which converted it to quicktime movies (960 x 720).

I also shot some footage during the pick up shots with a vari cam.

I then imported the cut to Apple Color. Did the color correction and rendered it out with the settings to

aja kona 10 bit rgb 4:2:2.

any suggestions on what I should do now.

I got it to work. What I did was did a software update and it solved the problem. my printer is working now, but i still can not find the print utitlity in my utilites folder. Does lepoard have a print utility?

Zane, to answer your question I was getting “printer is offline” from the epson utility driver from my epson stylus photo R340.

Sorry for the screw up. I have MacBook Pro 17′, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.4 ghz. My operating system is ox 10.5.2 lepoard. Can anyone help me please. My print utility is missing. I don’t know if that is how leopard comes. Does it? Well, the problem is I can’t print on any of my printers. it says” Printer is curretly off-line. I have checked the cables and tried other printers it still gives me that error. Any advice.

Do you know what kind of device I would need? I am planning on getting a DVI cable with a HDMI on the other end and connect it to my G4 laptop to a flat screen TV. Do you think that would work?

How do I check my camera output setting on my HVX 200 camera.

How can i check if my camera is expecting DV or DVCPROHD?

My Audio/Video settings say this:

Sequence Preset DVCPRO HD – 720p24
Capture Preset : DV NTSC 48kHz
Device control Preset: FireWire NTSc
Video Playback: Apple FireWire NTSC (720 x 480)
Audio Playback: FireWire DV
