Thanks, Bob. There wasn’t a “Media Cache” in the Common folder. So I searched for it in Finder and found a Media Cache folder; however, there were only two files in it.

I’ve worked on Macs for about 12 years now, and just started working in Ae within the last two years. Do you know if the Adobe CC programs look the same, and are the key commands the same on PC as they are on a Mac? I’m a little hesitant to switch, but I may need to.

Found it. I must have hit command + shift + 5, and to get it back to color you hit command + shift +2…. just in case y’all were curious. ☺

Ok. I did a little more digging around and someone was having this problem with PremierPro (I know it’s a different program, but they are pretty similar). They said one way to fix it (I don’t think this is a long term fix) is to change the workspace. So, I changed it from a workspace that I had created to the Essentials workspace, and that seemed to fix the issue for now. AE is the only program I have this issue with, but if it continues to happen I will look into the operating system. Thanks!

I realize this is an old post, so I’m hoping I can still get a response from someone. I am attempting to use the foam effect, but when I go to change the bubble texture, it does not change. It stays the same blue outline. Do any of you know what I could be doing wrong? TIA

Thank you, Dave! I will have to check out Andrew’s series of tutorials. I am also new to the Creative Cow, so I’m learning everything it has to offer. I’m also trying to find out more information about sizing. I will be creating videos for a video wall that will be 5760×1080. I have found stock video that I would like to use but the largest it comes is 1920×1080. If I scale the stock video up to spread across all three screens, will it become pixelated? I’m VERY new to this so I’m sorry if this is something basic I should already know.
