I found a small bug with final cut that most people have been wondering…where those hidden files are. strangely for me the answer was right under my nose and it took me a couple years to find it.

– Locate the directory you installed final cut to (most likely your applications folder)
– right click Final Cut Pro.app and “Show Package Contents”
– go into the “Contents” directory and then go into the “MacOS” directory located inside there

you may notice a strange cluster f*** of directories with names of projects you are currently working on. On top of that, you may also notice the interesting folders “Audio Render Files” and “Render Files”. I had about 120 gigs of space being taken up by these stupid files and im glad i found them finally.
