I am having a similar issue inside FCP

I have a DV clip with the following settings:
    Frame Size: 720×480
    Compressor: DV/DVCPRO – NTSC
Pixel Aspect: NTSC – CCIR 601
    Field Dominance: Lower(Even)

    and my sequence settings of:
    Frame Size: 720×480 NTSC DV(3:2)
Pixel Aspect Ratio: NTSC – CCIR 601 / DV (720×480)
    Field Dominance: Lower(Even)
    Compressor DV/DVCPRO – NTSC

When I export using quicktime Conversion, as a .mov file, I always get a 640×480 video, even though I specify a NTSC 720×480 4:3 file.

When I export using compressor as a .mov file at 720×480 with a pixel aspect ratio of NTSC CCIR 601/DV, the video comes out as 640×480

Please help! Any ideas as to what is going wrong?
