Can you post a screenshot of what you are experiencing. As David mentioned above, it could be a variety of things, but I am guessing that this problem is being caused due to inadequate fonts. There is an excellent article on this site on what type of fonts or graphics to use for video. -
The best thing to do would be to call Adobe Customer Service and clarify the situation.

I am not sure if I follow you correctly. Could you perhaps elaborate your process?
a) How was it captured?
b) Capture settings
c) Project settings?I have a feeling that your audio levels are too high. Go to your Audio Mixer and lower the master levels to -6 or 12db [Window –> Audio Mixer]

What specifically are you looking to learn. Steven has an excellent set of tutorials at https://www.lynda.com (a $25 montly fee). I would also strongly reccomend take a look at Curt Wrigley’s Premiere Pro tutorials as they are practical and cover a wide range of topics. If you still looking for more, check out the Total Training package from Total Training.

No, sorry. However, I do use ScLive to capture AVI files.

I agree. But, I would strongly make sure that your computer is up todate. Premiere Pro takes up a lot of system power and you need a lot of RAM to work with it effeciently. (Adobe reccomends atleast 1GB)

Premiere Pro does not capture MOV files. I would strongly reccomend diagnosing the AVI problem.
