Light Iron Names Ian Kerner as VP of Business Development

Kerner brings extensive post-production sales experience, further strengthens Light Iron’s evolution and growth.

Light Iron, an industry leader in providing innovative post-production creative services and part of Panavision’s end-to-end offerings for content creators, has welcomed industry veteran Ian Kerner as the company’s new VP of Business Development. Kerner works out of Light Iron’s Los Angeles facility, supporting the company’s sales strategy.

Reporting to and working closely with Katie Fellion, Senior Vice President of Business Development and Post Production Strategy at Light Iron, Kerner oversees global sales and business development and new market strategies. He will also strategically align sales efforts with Panavision to maximize the value proposition of the companies’ shared production-to-post offerings.

“This is an incredibly exciting time to join Light Iron,” said Kerner. “The company has a well-earned reputation for innovation and collaboration, creating and refining cutting-edge solutions to support content creators throughout the imaging pipeline. Being part of the Panavision family opens the doors for more opportunities and flexibilities for our clients and synergies throughout their creative processes. I’m thrilled to be part of this team as it continues to grow and push the possibilities of post.”

Kerner brings nearly 20 years of post-production sales experience to Light Iron. He previously worked in Director and VP roles at LaserPacific, Modern VideoFilm, Mad Old Nut Productions and, most recently, Technicolor.

“We’re so excited to have Ian join our growing team,” said Fellion. “His extensive background, in-depth knowledge of the post industry, and longstanding relationships will reinforce the support we offer our clients and the overall experience they know they can count on when working with us. We’re proud to call Ian part of the Light Iron family.”
