Infinite Post-Production Potential for Creatives: Harness NVIDIA AI and GPUs for Power and Speed
Creatives in post don’t just edit videos. We look forward to the latest innovations that can give us an edge in our industry. Well, the joyous future is now, and the advancements of NVIDIA’s Studio platform won’t just give you an edge, they’ll empower you with the ability to create that next frontier yourself. With the advancement in NVIDIA’s GPUs, drivers, hardware, software, and AI, prepare for your mind to be blown as to what you can accomplish. Not only are you going to build better projects, you’re going to do it faster than ever before.
The Advantage of GPU-Acceleration in Post-Production Apps
Real-time rendering tools and advanced capabilities through AI-driven apps will endow your creativity with an amazing edge. Simply decide where you want to go and let NVIDIA’s graphics cards be the ticket to your destination.
Adobe Premiere Pro Auto Reframe
Without auto reframe, a subject or object may drift out of the new aspect ratio. But with AI technology, auto reframe can follow your subject and keep it in frame automatically. NVIDIA GPUs can accelerate that process and have you onto the next step of your edit in no time by allowing you to edit videos with effects faster than before, and with a smooth fast render.
When a video gets reframed in Premiere Pro, the titling can automatically resize as well; another time saving benefit to creators from NVIDIA GPU acceleration!
DaVinci Resolve Slow Motion & Face Detection
DaVinci Resolve continues to leverage NVIDIA’s RTX cards and tensor cores, offering exciting options when it comes to object removal, face refinement and Speed Warp AI slow-motion frame blending.
In conventional methods of Resolve’s default re-framing, the frames are just repeated to match a slower frame rate, resulting in jerky video. But Optical Flow creates and adds new frames in between the original frames of the video, presenting a somewhat smoother slow-motion video, albeit with some artifacts and warping. Using the Resolve neural engine and a GPU accelerated trained neural network, the Speed Warp function can then clean up the anomalies, leaving beautiful slow-motion video.
Highlight the beauty of a heroine or deepen the scowl of a foe! In DaVinci Resolve’s Face Refinement, GPU-accelerated face tracking can analyze faces across a video clip, then editors have options to change a subject’s expression on the screen by changing and refining features by assisting in the retouch of eyes, lips, and forehead.
Adobe Photoshop Neural Filters
NVIDIA supercharges the alluring abilities of Neural Filters. The combination of Photoshop Neural Filters and an NVIDIA GPU isn’t just faster, it offers amazing new tools for editing portraits.
Reverse the artifacts that are left behind by the algorithms during file saving in Photoshop with Neural Filters that fine-tune your image by adjusting the edge with either a high, medium, or low level of blur.
Style Transfer will let you capture the color, hue, or saturation of one image and apply it to another! Customize the look with Preserve Color and Focus Subject.
Zoom in without losing sharpness with Super Zoom, relying upon NVIDIA AI to fill in pixels as you zoom.
Colorize black and white photos using Adobe Sensei to automatically fill the image and use focus points to add more color in key areas to create that pop.
NVIDIA Studio Resources
What sorcery is this? On top of what NVIDIA hardware can do for your current system, NVIDIA has developed several free applications that are so powerful, the daily workflow of post-production will never be the same.
NVIDIA Broadcast
Plug NVIDIA Broadcast into your current video conferencing platform, such as Zoom or WebEx, to control visuals and sound through the RTX core on your graphics card, and experience one of the coolest apps to hit streaming ever.
Broadcast will process the input of audio during the conference, and it’s your choice to remove any level of unwanted background noise, remove the echo when streaming room with reflective surfaces, and even clarify the sound of the subject’s voice when speaking.
Visuals get the same treatment in NVIDIA Broadcast, giving streamers the choice to blur the background, replace the background, or refine the appearance of the room as it already exists during the stream.
NVIDIA Canvas
Need a background for a scene, or simply desire an outlet for instant creativity? Canvas your way into realistic landscape pieces or painting-like images. With NVIDIA RTX GPU behind this innovatory app, you’ll see your most basic ideas come to life in real time.
This stunning AI tech will create backgrounds with a mere stroke of the mouse. Trained on 5 million images, employing 15 materials brushes, and 9 style presets, the possibilities are endless. Change to a different precept at any point to non-destructively change the entire look and feel of the image. Change the time of day to cast a completely different feel to your image.

NVIDIA Omniverse
This suite provides a platform to connects apps for collaboration among teams, granting the ability to create graphics, animations, and fast virtual worlds using the Universal Scene Description (USD) format. USD lets a single model in your project be subject to over 28 different software, including Blender, Cinema 4D, and Photoshop, while the NVIDIA environment delivers instant renders.
Achieve a higher level of production in this amazing platform. Omniverse allows companies and teams to hire creatives from a world-wide talent pool, since the team can plug into Omniverse from literally anywhere to collaborate on the same project, with creators working simultaneously on a model, able to see the renders of other team members in real-time. Omniverse Connectors live-link programs together, eliminating the need to export and import, which saves untold time and effort.
Omniverse is free to download, so get a sense of its power today by working with pre-loaded sample projects that are ready for you to explore!
