Glookast Unveils New UX, YouTube and Social Media Connectors, Premiere Panel, Cinnafilm Tachyon Plugin and More at NAB
Glookast, a leading developer of intelligent workflow automation tools for the broadcast, media and entertainment industry, today announced a comprehensive set of product advances at NAB Show 2026. These innovations span a completely redesigned user experience for Media Producer, YouTube and social media connectors (as both publish destinations and ingest sources), an Adobe Premiere Pro panel that leverages Adobe UXP, a Cinnafilm Tachyon plugin, enhanced Gallery Pro control capabilities, loop recording for Scheduler, and a macOS client for file-based tools.
“What excites me most right now is the momentum. Our engineering team is executing at an incredible pace, and what you’re seeing at NAB is only a fraction of what’s in the pipeline. But I want to be clear – we don’t measure ourselves by how much we ship. We measure ourselves by how well our customers adopt and rely on what we build. That’s the commitment, and it’s not changing,” said Matt Silva, CEO of Glookast
All relevant product versions are scheduled for release immediately following NAB Show 2026. The Glookast team will be demonstrating all announced capabilities live at the show at Booth W1661. For inquiries following NAB, please reach out to sa***@******st.com.
New Media Producer Interface
A fully reimagined user experience for modern production workflows
Media Producer 26.4 introduces a reimagined user interface, purpose-built for today’s production environments. The new design features fully configurable per-user dashboards, as well as an integrated workflow management system that unifies ingest workflows, watch folder automation, and asset-triggered workflows in a single, coherent interface, among other enhancements.
The redesign reflects how Media Producer operators actually work, with real-time visibility, role appropriate views, and faster access to the actions that matter most. Media Producer 26.4 is scheduled for release immediately following NAB Show 2026.
YouTube & Social Media Connectors
Publish to and ingest from YouTube and social platforms, directly from Media Producer and Media Services
Media Producer now bridges professional production and social/digital distribution with bidirectional connectivity to YouTube and major social media platforms. Production teams can publish finished assets directly from Media Services to their digital channels, while also ingesting content from YouTube and social sources through Media Producer.
These connectors address the increasingly hybrid nature of modern media organizations, where content moves fluidly between broadcast production environments and digital platforms.
Adobe Premiere Pro Panel
Native UXP-based Media Producer integration inside Adobe Premiere Pro
Glookast is introducing a native Media Producer panel for Adobe Premiere Pro, built on Adobe’s modern UXP (Unified Extensibility Platform) framework. The panel integrates directly into the Premiere Pro workspace, giving editors immediate access to the Media Producer asset library, search, and ingest capabilities without switching applications.
By eliminating the context-switching between workflow tool and NLE, the Premiere panel reduces time-to-timeline, and streamlines editorial workflows.
Cinnafilm Tachyon Plugin
World-class video processing, embedded in Media Producer transcoding workflows
Media Producer now integrates Cinnafilm’s Tachyon video processing engine, bringing world class standards conversion, frame rate conversion, and de-interlacing directly into Media Producer transcoding workflows.
A defining feature of the integration is intelligent optimization mode selection: in live production contexts, the system automatically optimizes for speed and low latency; in file-based workflows, it prioritizes maximum output quality. This adaptive behavior ensures that Tachyon delivers the right result for each production context without requiring manual configuration switching.
OCIP Integration for Control via Gallery Pro
Record and stop control of Gloobox devices, directly from Gallery Pro
This integration allows for Gallery Pro to control Gloobox capture devices, via support for the Open Control Interface Protocol (OCIP). This integration enables operators to send record and stop commands to Gloobox devices directly from the Gallery Pro interface, directly integrating Gloobox to many production environments that utilize Gallery Pro to control their recordings.
For facilities managing distributed or remote capture points, the OCIP integration consolidates signal monitoring and recording control into a single interface, simplifying operations and reducing the time between editorial decision and action.
Loop Recording for Scheduler
Continuous circular recording with a configurable rolling buffer
Glookast Scheduler now supports loop recording, enabling a continuously rolling capture buffer of configurable duration. When the buffer fills, the oldest content is automatically overwritten, providing a persistent recording window without unbounded storage growth. Historically, this feature was primarily available in LiveOps; however, many customers have requested this functionality in Scheduler.
Loop recording is particularly valuable for compliance and regulatory recording requirements, live production pre-roll capture, and always-on monitoring workflows where unattended continuous capture is required.
Mac Client for Media Producer & Media Services
The complete Glookast stack, now running natively on macOS
For the first time, the complete Media Producer stack, including the Media Services backend components (indexer and media layer), is available natively on macOS. The new Mac client enables post-production teams, creative facilities, and organizations operating predominantly on Apple hardware to deploy and run Glookast workflows seamlessly.
This marks a significant expansion of Glookast’s platform reach, opening Media Producer and Media Services to a wider range of production and post-production environments and making it easier to integrate with Mac-centric editorial workflows.
