Freelance Developer Releases RizomUV Link for Cinema 4D — A Three-Edition Plugin That Brings Fileless UV Bridging, Scripting, and Full Batch Processing to C4D Artists

Built from real-world uv mapping frustration, RizomUV Link closes the gap between Cinema 4D and RizomUV with a live fileless bridge, powerful scripting support, and a batch pipeline that can process entire scenes automatically.

Eric Jeffery, a freelance 3D artist and developer with over two decades of industry experience, has launched RizomUV Link — a Cinema 4D plugin that creates a seamless, fileless live bridge between Cinema 4D and RizomUV standalone. Available in three editions (Basic, Standard, and Pro), the plugin is designed to eliminate the tedious export-import cycle that C4D artists have long endured when working with RizomUV’s best-in-class UV unwrapping tools.

Three Editions for Every Workflow

The free Basic edition gives any C4D artist instant Send and Get functionality with zero configuration — a single-click bridge to RizomUV with no file exports required. The Standard edition ($35 per seat) adds the full UV control suite: multi-UV set support, edge and polygon selection export with pinning and cutting, Pack on Send, Auto UDIM detection, configurable Unfold and Optimize settings, and Update UVs automation. The Pro edition ($60 per seat) builds on Standard with three standout features:

Scripting Tab (.ris and .py) — Write, save, and execute RizomUV scripts directly from Cinema 4D, with Run Script on Send for fully automated pipelines. Multi-UV set meshes are handled automatically, with the script running once per UV set.

Batch Processing — Process entire scenes or folders of files unattended. Source can be the active C4D scene (all polygon objects) or a folder of OBJ, FBX, or C4D files including subfolders. Output modes include update-in-place, per-mesh file export, or full scene save — all with timestamped output folders so originals are never modified.

Auto-Update — Live UV sync that pulls updated coordinates back into Cinema 4D automatically on every mouse release inside RizomUV, enabling a true real-time editing experience.
