Zooming Out From a Video
I have a short completed video segment of an animation. I want the segment to begin with a slow zoom out from a central area of the video screen to the full area of the video screen.
I’m new to After Effects.
Can After Effects accomplish this zoom out from video effect and if so, how can it be done?
Any specific suggestions on steps and/or tutorials?

There are multiple ways to do this but my favorite way to do this is to use a camera. Here is a tutorial on how to use the camera:
