Zooming in on hidden picture, then zooming in on another one, then again…. etc
How do I do this? I’ve already designed all of the pics in PS so that there is a blank photo hidden in the background somewhere. I want to zoom in on that “hidden” picture. Then that one also has a “hidden” picture in the background that I will zoom in on… and over and over. What’s the best way to do this in AE? I was thinking of using the blank space as a track matte, but I’m not real familiar with how those work. Any help or suggestions are mucho appreciato…. or something.

I’m not sure I understand it is you’re trying to do.
But maybe if you put Null objects where you’re “hidden areas” are supposed to be, you could easily use the position info of those Nulls to properly coordinate your movements

Place your picture where you want it scaled etc. Then parent it to the bigger picture. When you raise the bigger picture’s scale the little one will be raised right along with it…

Hey “Not so great” Szalam… Just wanted to say thanks. I kept messing with null layers trying to accomplish this effect and all I needed to do was parent each layer like you said. MUCH easier! Thanks a bunch brotha!
