Hi I have designed a 2d picture of a house and placed it in final cut.I want to make a quick zoom into one of the windows of said house and all of a sudden have video of people so to make it look as if they are in the house.

Can anyone suggest how can I accomplish this effect ???

    Thanks a lot

Do it in Motion. That’s where I have done this trick.
Set up a project with 3D cameras.
Place the house footage with a negative z space value, say -200
Make the “people” footage a 2D layer below the house layer
Cut a matte into one of the windows
Animate the camera to fly through the window revealing the people

Hopefully you know enough Motion to be dangerous.

When you are “closing the zoom” you must blur the house picture to avoid pixelation and making look more real.

Forgot. Do the inverse to the movie in the background: Start with the picture blurred and reduce the blur while you are getting closed. You can also Also reduce the video levels to make it darker. Then rise the levels while you get closed. Will helps. Good luck.
