Zooming
I switched to two 70D canon bodies from video camcorders (after 30 years) in 2014 to do video and time lapse (wildlife, scenics & travel), my lens line up is Samyang fisheye, Canon 10-22, 24-105L, 18-55, 50mm and 70-300L. What I miss sometimes is a zoom, all “zoom ” photo lenses are varifocal and have different apertures, manual zoom is very limited. Tried a Lumix FX200, the video is decent, great zoom but without a good remote the starting point is not soft enough. Any hint where to go?

Don’t Sony have some decent zooms for full frame dslr / csc … ?
