do you guys know if you can switch between monitoring inputs 1 and 2 on the zoom H4N?
So if you have two lav mics attached you can monitor one at a time?

Not on the machine itself.
The stereo headphone jack obviously puts out a “left-right” signal, so making a switch to ISO each side would be pretty trivial, but the unit itself does not have mono monitoring of each track.
