    Zoom Speed with Maunal Zoom with EX1

    Hello,

    I have an EX1 and today it fell over on a tripod from a strong wind while doing a timelapse. Luckily for me however the only thing that was damaged on the camera was the Servo zoom controls. They have been damaged internally and the only way I can zoom now is with the manual zoom ring. I am on location shooting and won’t be able to get the camera back to Sony until I get back home. Is their any way to control the speed of the zoom using the manual zoom ring. Right now, the manual zoom ring is extremely fast. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
