I want to zoom out on a moving image and can’t find any information on line and I have a had a thorough look, is this scaling? All references seem to be doing this with a still image. I want to in effect do a camera zoom out but in After Effects is this possible? I’ve also looked through the AE manual for information on this.

Any help would be much appreciated

Scale with an ease can create the look of a camera zoom…Add motion blur for more realism. This can also be acheived by making the layer 3d and adjusting the Z-Position, or by adding a camera (after making the layer 3d) and adjusting the position of the camera.

Try parenting the camera to the moving layer and then keyframing the camera’s zoom or z-position property.
