Hi i have two videos and i have got one fullscreen and then one on top in the top right corner, sometimes i would like the video on top to become the main video and the bottom one to become the top one.

I am able to do this but the only transistion that i can do is to fade them out and i was wondering if the top video at the time could expand to fill the screen(over 2 seconds or something). Then i could fade the previous bottom layer video on top . Sorry if im not clear its hard to explain.

    Thanks for any help

Use track motion and keyframing to “zoom” one full over the other.
Pretty easy. You can also use transitions on either one of your two clips.

Vegas “sees” from the top down. So what it oon an upper track will be over the top of a lower track. If you have your set up so that the smaller PiP is in the upper right corner it must be on an upper track. How did you make it smaller? Just reverse it to fill the frame. Either evemnt pan/crop or track motion. When you have the upper track filling the frame then split the lower track and move the remaining video to a track above the previous top track (You will now have 3 tracks. Resize it to go smaller and into the corner, probably using track motion. You can place a transition on the overlap area for variation.
