    I have been playing around with the Scale effect to do picture in picture.

    What I would like to know how to do is to zoom in on a picture, and then scale that zoomed in version so that is the picture in picture.

    sounds like you you need a crop effect to me.

    Thanks. That seemed to work. Didn’t consider cropping it. I’ve been working in FCP for awhile now and trying to learn this pretty quick.
